Several years ago, MistAMERICA was challenged by Waste Management to come up with a dust suppression system that solved problems that the traditional high-pressure misting system could not solve: 1) to properly suppress dust in the entire transfer station, and 2) to eliminate the low-visibility “fog” problem created by the high-pressure misting systems on days with little air flow. MistAMERICA’s R & D team came up with the solution: ACS™ Technology which, in a nutshell, uses a slightly heavier mist/nozzle configuration to both suppress dust more evenly throughout the facility AND eliminate the occasional low-visibility “fog” problem.
